  • Evidence to the Political and Constitutional Reform Committee (January and July 2012) The inquiry was into the governments plans for - and handling of - the statutory register. They rejected the government proposals as they stood, and largely agreed with our submission. The government then promised to revise its proposals.
  • Evidence to the Public Administration Select Committee inquiry on the Advisory Committee on Business Appointments (February 2012).  We were the only academics to be invited to give evidence. Miller appeared before PASC in March 2012.  Our call for the abolition of the Advisory Committee on Business Appointments was endorsed by the committee.
